Американский актер. В восемь лет Гленн Форд с семьей переехал в Америку. После средней школы начал работать в театре. Отец не возражал против увлечения сына, однако настоятельно рекомендовал ему освоить какую-нибудь мужскую профессию. Поэтому Гленн Форд, уже будучи известным актером, время от времени устанавливал окна и работал кровельщиком.
