Biography

Elias Logothetis (Lefkada, 15 April 1939 – Athens, 28 February 2024) was a Greek actor. He was born in Lefkada. He did not consider pursuing acting, as he was more attracted to opera. He was a graduate of the Department of Political Science at Panteion. He spoke three languages: English, Russian and Italian. He came into contact with theatre through the Karolos Koun Art Theatre, from which he graduated in 1967, and took part in many theatrical performances. His favourite performance was "My Mother's Sin", in which he starred with his wife, Maria Zachari, for 12 years. He made his film debut in 1970, in the play "Babylonia".
