Teddy Teclebrhan

Tedros "Teddy" Teclebrhan (born September 1, 1983, in Asmara, Eritrea) is a German-Eritrean comedian, actor, musician, musical theater performer, and web video producer. He rose to fame under his stage name, Teddy Comedy. The trademark of his "ethno-comedy" style is a blend of the Swabian dialect and *Kiezdeutsch* (urban vernacular). Teclebrhan was born in Asmara as the youngest of three sons. When he was seven months old, his mother fled with him and his siblings to Germany as a result of the Eritrean War of Independence. He grew up in Belsen, a district of Mössingen near Tübingen. After completing his alternative civilian service, he undertook an acting course in 2008 at the international acting academy CreArte in Stuttgart.
